I visited Tsegereda school during my trip to Addis Ababa in early October. Here are some photographs of the latest intake of children at the school - they were very happy! Thomas Redmond - Treasurer, Tesfa Foundation UK

I lived in Addis Ababa in 2002 and visited a small school at the very top of Entoto mountain. The school itself was set on the top of a steep hill and surrounded by a tall fence. It had a dirt yard for play and the school was oblong with two classrooms. This isn't the Tsegereda school is it? Please let me know at jlmaness@earthlink.net Thank, Jennifer Nelson
The Tesfa Foundation is a Minnesota non-profit. Tesfa-UK is an independent UK charity. Both are dedicated to improving life chances for the poorest children in Ethiopia.
Tesfa develops early childhood education centres in the poorest parts of Ethiopia. Its first school, the Tsegereda Memorial Early Childhood Education Centre, opened in October 2004.
